Cord Management has never been my strong suit. I’m terrible at it. But my New Year’s Resolution is to correct that.

I ordered the one from post #6.

Thanks Chichlid Dad. Hopefully I can get this under control now.

I use these... they are metal, tough, can handle some water if it happes (when?) and the surge protector seems to be good. They also have long cords and don't get mad if I plug high wattage stuff into them.

@jda thanks for this shout out! Just got one and it’s almost too good for the price. I want to pop it open and look at the guys but it’s riveted shut.

I don't think I'd want to go to the basement to flip the circuit breaker all the time.
Exactly what I was thinking! My circuit breaker is behind my drum kit. Ya have to move an 18" ride cymbal and work your way around the floor tom. NO!!!!

Glad I didn’t buy the house that had the breakers in the crawl space under the house. Can’t imagine tripping circuit and having to go outside, under the back porch and access a small door for the breaker box.

Oh, Good Lord. Yeah, when I bought this house we had a SMALL water heater under the house in the crawl space. Took me forever to find it! When it finally started leaking I thought for sure they'd have to cut a hole in the wall to get it out, but they managed it. We did not put the replacement there!

What are the best power strips? Gotta have plenty of room for all those plugs. . . and no I aint talking about your fancy pants Apex power thingies. . . just good old fashion power strips. . . GO!
I would say hands down get a Trippe lite! They have built in GFCI. Very much worth the expense.
