I have a SCA 80g (32"x24x24) center overflow mixed reef and I'm considering changing out my Tunze powerheads. I currently have 2 Tunzes 6105 on Sea Sweeps from one of my previous tanks, so I decided to use these for this build, but they are pretty bulky both in the tank and on the rim of the tank.
I don't really want to have a power head on the sides of the tank so I would like to keep the powerheads on the back wall one both sides of the overflow.
A LFS has a beautiful softie tank similar to my dimensions and they have gyres on each side of their center overflow. I like the low profile design of these, but I wasn't sure if these are a great choice for my dimensions. Phito shows my aquascape but it has changed a little with the pillar on the right being taller now. All sps are mid to high up on rocks with euphyllia and other lps on sandbed and bottom half of rocks.
What would you recommend?
