So I have been reefing for about 15 years now but have never had an RO-DI unit, thinking it's time, not because of anything negative but just thinking giving me an edge on anything that might happen. Wondering what everyone uses and there thoughts on the units, any other suggestions would be helpful as well. FWIW - the unit will be about 20 feet away from my fishroom so need to figure out a pumping system to pump water for water changes as well, any hints as a push button pump system, I have a couple of thoughts but lets hear yours first.

Thanks in advance.

Spectrapure, Buckeye Hydro, and BRS are my go to places for any RODI stuff. I'm currently extremely happy with my Buckeye Hydro light commercial unit and their support.

Give them a call and they will walk you through some questions on what's the best fit for you. I personally like having 2 Carbon and 2 DI stages as cheap insurance.
