Hey everyone. I was thinking of adding a 20 gallon high tank to my 29 gallon reef tank as a refugium/seahorse display. But I'm not quite sure whats the best way to plumb those two tank together. Let me know what you guys think I should do

It would be easiest to get them linked by making the 20 a sump and the 29 a DT.

A HOB overflow box, some PVC pipe and a return pump would work cheaply. Use egg crate as dividers in the 20.

Yeah I know but I want the 20 to be another display for fish that cant be with other reef fish, such as seahorses, while also acting as a refugium for the 29
