I am so glad to hear some of the folks have them long term. We are looking for a better source that would be good most all the time rater than a hit and miss like we have currently.

I hope you can work with the supplier to determine the solution. But I'm sure you are already doing so.

So far they are getting along but they are still juveniles. I may have to remove one when they become territorial adults.

Ok why not post this info on the page so that consumer knows. If you look at the page, it doesn’t say the size…. One simple thing can clarify a lot. Thank for your response though

@Dr. Reef I filed a claim last week for damsels and still waiting to get credit. I sent follow up email this morning. Are you price matching with Liveaquaria? I have other fish I’m looking at.

Also is it too late to place order for delivery this Thursday?

we are still matching everything in stock items at liveaquaria and unfortunately we cant ship at least 10 more days as mid west is all frozen and ups is not operating either. Temps are way far belw where heat packs fail and there is no way to ship like that for now. Maybe 2 weeks from now.

Someone was asking about these.This is a captive bread.I got about two years ago.And just thriving, he was just hiding for the first couple weeks, but I have a three hundred gallon tank.So maybe enough to pick on and keep himself healthy, but he's a little piggy now.

This is ridiculous. I placed an order from live aquaria because they said they had yellow eye kole tangs, I know it's so unlikely but I've been looking for one forever and got excited. Ordered a small.. but I received a 5 inch spotted yellow eye. The thing is I loved the way he looked and had never seen one in person. Did well for 2 days and just started deteriorating and died by the 8th day. Customer service is barely reachable and I'm just so dang frustrated. I'm on the verge of just never buying from anyone online ever again, not sure. I just needed to vent, thanks for listening lol

Some of them carry live arrival on paper but we normally ship double on bad shippers and alao we work with our customers even after the guarantee has expired etc. We are very easy to work with.

@drreef I see you guys offer the captive bred multibar Angels. My question is why don’t you guys hold for longer? All the reviews I’ve read say the captive bred ones come in very small and no one has kept them for more than a few months. Not sure I would want my name attached to that. I ask that when you guys get more in and you have one that is readily eating with no issues please let me know

FWIW, I have a pair, and it’s coming up on 2 years since I got them. I got them direct from a supplier, who got them from BA. They were very small, less than 0.5”, I put them in a separate holding tank with a bunch of mature rock, lots of pods.. and I fed heavy on baby brine shrimp for the first couple of months.. then XS pellets and eventually frozen brine/mysis..

I think the pods helped as they just don’t have a lot of body weight to sustain them for long periods between feedings.

Anyway, just to say, they can be successfully raised… also, I would never buy another wild caught Multibar Angel, tried twice many years ago, the survival rate has to be less than 10%..
