Have a trio of A. Spotcinctus looking to get a host. Really like S. Haddoni and hoping that would work out. Anyone with any opinion on success. Had a pair of A. Allardi in one before and they loved it. Spotcinctus look very similar to me, figure probably look at a haddoni the same. If not any suggestions other than bubble tip?
Thanks,
Paul

It's not a natural host for bicinctus, but odds are they'll take it. The Clarkii complex clownfish will get hosted by almost anything. As far as I know S. haddoni is also not a natural host for A. allardi, yet it still worked for you.

I'm in the same boat as you. My Spotcinctus pair was in a bubble tip. The bubble tips were removed due to splitting and wandering up my overflow box repeatedly. The clowns moved into a ball of red sea Xenia while I get an upgrade sorted for them.
I will probably go with H. aurora anemones for them as a natural host.

I think with the clowns being Clarkii complex and them hosting two other Stychodactyla carpets in the wild the chance of success is high.

Good luck with your clowns 👍
