Hey everyone🙂just looking for advice! My tank is set up nearly 3 months now, I have 2 clowns, 3 blue legged hermits, a turbo, a peppermint shrimp and 2 nessarius snails! All my water parameters are spot on and yet my tank has been growing this algae. I’m pretty sure it’s just green algae but in the last few days it’s started to become very dark, almost black? Just want to check if there’s any cause for concern or if anyone would have any advice. I have a UV clarifier arriving in 3 days hoping that might help reduce the levels!
Thanks🙂
Also, I did an utterly abysmal job of cleaning the glass on the tank, I know…I have SCRUBBED it every single day for the last 3 weeks so I’m honestly just tired of it😂

Wouldn’t worry too much if your tank is only 3 months old :) the conditions in your tank can influence the color of your algae. Sounds like a normal green algae turning towards the dark side and will disappear with a maturing tank
