How do I get my black back chine wrasse to get food?
I've tried pellet and frozen with garlic and no luck.
All its doing is pecking at tge rock.
It's a beautiful fish but won't last long without eating.
I've read some work out but most don't.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey I was having the same problem as you I noticed he was picking at the rocks but not interested in floating or dropping food so I got some regular shrimp and I stuck it in a rock

These fish will peck at the rocks and if your pod population is big enough it will sustain him in the long run depending on how established the tank is. I would try some scented frozen mysis/brine shrimp, first I would personally do live brine but I have not faced one of these wrasses that won’t eat the instant it’s out of the sand. It also just takes some time so if you’ve only had her for a few days then that’s most likely why, she’s probably still trying to settle into the tank.

My China Wrasse keeps pecking amongst the rocks for the last 2 months ... but today it took to the pellets, I guess he realised he's running outta options!
