Hi I noticed some of these black buds or something coming off of the skeleton of my hammer. I was wondering if that’s normal or is it something I should be aware of and remove. Sorry about the pic the glass isn’t the cleanest.

Are they moving?
Hard to see clearly but if not moving could be bubble algae or eggs of some dort. If moving- possible black bugs

Or could be vermetid snails. .. also some hammers grow tiny new heads on the stock. Could be this?
Would need better photos to help.

My guess would be vermetids snail. Does it look like this?

Could be bubble algae as someone mentioned
If it's a hardshell vermited snails... you can remove them and cover the spot with super glue.

Need a clearer picture
