Black leopard wrasse changing?

Hello... ive had this wrasse for about 2 months its about 1.5 inch long the spots on its face seem to have changed in the last week.... is it changing to a male or is it changing into an adult female

Your picture is not clear enough. Changing wrasse will loose a lot of the white on the body so your wrasse maybe changing. Here is mine. Same wrasse from female to changing to male

Ahh kk nice..... yeah the dots on the face seem to be fusing into lines maybe its just early stages

I just didnt think it would happen at such a young age

Same fish, 6 months apart. Female coloration and nuptial Male colortation.

I was not fast enough to catch the fish in his full glorious display. Missing his head and slightly out of focus.
