Black Leopard Wrasse

I recently added a Leopard Wrasse to one of my DT after being in QT. While it’s only been 2 days, I have yet to see him. I put him in Saturday afternoon, saw him that night, and haven’t again.
I also haven’t seen him eat frozen in the DT yet which is what he’s used to eating.
I know they are finicky fish and on the harder side to keep so I didn’t know if I should be concerned yet? I have a lid so I at least know he didn’t go carpet surfing. Anyone who has or had one with any input is appreciated.

If you qt’d and acclimated him properly he’s probably fine. They can hide in the sand for weeks sometimes.

I had one hid for 7 days once. Fish is 6 now. I wouldn't worry yet.

Got home from work today and he’s out swimming around and even ate! Probably was just stressed from the move. Thanks
