Anyone know what this is. Not the best pic but it’s about 1/2” long

Quickly looked up some pics and it does appear to be the black stomatella. Thanks!!

Just found two more “normal” stomatella snails in the tank. It’s been set up a couple months and this is the first time that I’ve seen them.

These new ones seem to be a bit more skittish than the black one. If I turn up the lights or bump the tank they hide.

Also they appear to grow pretty quick. The black one was maybe 1/2” a month ago and now is closer to an inch.

One of my favorite hitchhikers. Mine come out at night and do a once over on my rockwork. If you look close you should be able to make out the shell it blends in with their flesh. I edited to include what it is as well. This appears to be a stomatella.

Not elephant slug but great algae eating stomatella

Did yours ever happen to reproduce? I also got a black stomatella snail as a hitchhiker and would love to get more of these black ones, but I don't see them for sale anywhere.

I just seen one in my tank releasing with a pump motion what seemed like a chemical repeatedly, does anyone know what that could be?

Chatgpt just learned me that it was smoking (breeding), pretty cool to see in person.
