The dark black Midas Blenny is a striking individual. Maybe he is going through his emo phase :thinking-face:This is our Midas blenny "midas" (I know right, how original...) And yes, this is his color in his natural state.
Why did he decide to perma-change to blue/purple? Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of blennies...

Blennys are consistently the fattest fish in my tanks no matter what type. I’ll try to get a photo of my other Lawnmower. He’s a solid 5” and looks more like a puffer. This guy at 5 months still resembles a fish with pride.

Usually, they have a grumpy look to them. That one looks so confused to be on that rock.
