He got pretty chewed up but is alive and swimming, I have him in an empty rear chamber with minimal flow what can I do? What should I do?

I have a 3 gallon tank I can set up and medicate if needed.

Am I shooting for bacterial treatments to prevent infections, I have api fin and body cure if that's the case or should I go out and get one of the other two?

Maybe methylene blue and some antibiotic? I would think the risk of infection is great.

He has a sizable cut just behind his head and multiple scrapes running down his body, breathing just slightly above normal but not gasping. The cut behind his head might be deep I can't tell

Will either of these help the situation?

Can you get your hands on nitrofuracin green powder? That’s my go to for injuries (and ammonia burn). A good thing to have on hand.

Trying to weigh my options here. Add a hurt fish to 3 gallons of recently mixed water or add 3 gallons of recently mixed water to my display (eek) so I can use display water for my qt tank. That would be 10% of displays volume.

Personally, I would mix up fresh for the qt. You are trying to eliminate any possible sources of infection. When you have an operation, you wear a gown, not your street clothes.

Id Use display water in your hospital/QT tank to keep parameters as close as possible to reduce stress.

+1 for NFG and Methalyne Blue. If you can't get NFG, there is Spectragram which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. If you cant get those, Furan 2 + Kanaplex, Seachem StessGuard.

Not new "sterile" water like mentioned above?
