Blonde Naso Tang - Spinal Injury?

Hey guys
I received this naso today was shipped overnight. All other fish are fine except this poor guy. He’s currently in QT and I’m dosing metroplex and kanaplex but not sure that will really do much at this stage

I assume he just didn’t travel well and maybe just got damaged at some stage. I assume he’s most likely a goner but anyone have any possible suggestions??

I think I’ve seen this before in another thread but can’t seem to find it

I’ve shipped fish incoming and outgoing for 40+ years and never had a fish show spinal injury. Was the box damaged?
In one pic, it looks to me that the fish is very thin. They might have shipped it like that, but also, did you test the salinity of that fish’s bag? How did it compare to your tank’s? I’ve had issues getting in shipments where I test the parameters of one bag, and assume they all will be the same, not realizing they were vastly different because the dealer had different systems....

Yeah I’ve never had a spinal injury from shipments either. Box seems okay no real damage. Salinity was slightly lower - 1.024 vs 1.026 in the QT tank. He was like this in the bag though it didn’t happen in the QT tank.

I believe this may have occurred how fish was in the bag and caused deformity which may not correct itself.
Same occurs when fish is stuck in corner of fish bag- maY create upper dorsal damage or low oxygen

Had a wrasse with an apparent spinal injury a while back. Fish did not recover.
