Hey guys,

I've noticed this brown film type thing growing on my Northern Lights montipora. Wondering if anyone could ID this and tell me if there's any way to treat it. It doesn't seem to be spreading terribly fast and the coral doesn't seem too affected. Its polyps are still out and there is growth on the right side of the coral. Wondering what it is?

(I know it's a little hard to see but it's the best photo I could get atm...)

As usual, thanks for the help #reefsquad!

I don't know what the spots could be.The Montipora itself looks bleached to me though. This may be a water quality or lighting issue.

It was getting too much light so I moved it a couple months ago. All my other corals are doing well so I don't think it's my water quality... The coloration and polyp color have been the same since I got it so I don't think that's the case.
