Hi everyone, I recently set up my 140 gallon tank, recently meaning cycled back in October. My salinity is 1.25, I would have to get new measurements for nitrates and phosphates etc. but last time I measured they were in very much acceptable levels. I do pretty aggressive proteins skimming, I use carbon bags I forget what they’re called but the ones that you put into the heavy flow part of the tank. I recently noticed on my mushrooms these little what appear to be blue dots and after closer inspection after siphoning they were small what I assume are flatworms. I read about them and I got syphoning tubing to take them off, I got most of them there are a couple stragglers but hopefully not a big deal. Plmk if not the case :)

However, last night I noticed on my Tang something by his eye which I have not noticed before. Also my marine beta has what appear to be two white spots but I have not had a chance to get closer pictures today as I have been on work calls. This is more hoping that somebody might see this and know what the problem is and if I need to do an emergency solution because I need to leave town tomorrow for about a week and I’m worried I’m going to lose my fish. Any help is much appreciated.

Hope you meant 1.025 salinity (everything’s alive so I’d assume so).
White light pics would help a lot.
Hard to tell on the betta considering they are covered in white spots.
The tang could possibly have a bacterial infection or hlle (the latter is very common).

OK so I’m sort of not sure what to do here because I was able to get my lights to go white…and both fish then refused to come out.
This is what I know:

lights: 3 Radion XR30w G5, run about 35% power
Pump: Syncra SDC
Skimmer is Red Sea not sure model

I think I have adequate flow around the tank, this is actually my fourth tank it is for sure my biggest but everything else is healthy. I was able to suck off six or seven of these little worms, not sure if anybody knows exactly what they are they look brown in color when they are in the light and pretty small as you can see. I tried my best to get a better clearer picture but no such luck. I am wondering is are these one of those sort of annoying but not super harmful flat worms or is it possible the worms are on the fish? Probably impossible to say since a clear picture seems to be not in the cards right now. Need fish with more camera presence :)

So this is the best that I have right now, my testing kit is not something I can get into right now because unfortunately I am slammed at work but I’m going to try to make it to the LFS tonight to see what they think.
