Blue Squammy Growth Progression

So got in and really looked at it tonight, not just from pictures there are 8 sets of scutes on each side, last set of each side is hard and curled under some but I would assume there is a corresponding set of ribs that will grow as it gets bigger.

So it has been a few months and mine continues to be weird, first the scutes are huge even for a squamosa, second all the new growth is pink/orange, made it close up so everyone can see

Squamosa shells are sometimes pink/orange/peach colored at least on the outside. Not sure how common it is but it's really cool!

Found this pic while cleaning out an old drive... one of these as a baby... so cute. It is amazing how the colors and patterns change.
