Bought this coral about a week ago. Was sold as a blue stunner chalice.
The polyps seem to have a more brownish hue to them.
I haven't seen any sweepers at night or noticed any growth.
Not sure if this is the natural color for this coral, or if it is Brownricordeang.

I can't imagine its getting too much light. Stock biocube 16 led lighting. Leptoseris and ricordea doing great and growing well.
2 healthy RFAs and a recovering BTA.
Temp 77f
PH 8.2
Sal: 1.025
DKH 10
Calc 460
Ammonia 0
Nitrates 5
Mag is unknown. Don't have a tester for that yet.
Using Red Sea Coral pro salt.

That's what I'm wondering... Does it look normal/healthy?
I haven't seen any pictures of a blue/purple or brown stunner, which is why I'm questioning its health.

Mine like moderate water flow and lighting heavy on blue.
What type of lighting are you using?

Mine:

I tried to get better pics, but my phone camera sucks lol. Last night with the lights going down, I shined a ~385nM UV on it. Its definitely bluer, and with the UV, the polyps were showing a little green. Maybe its bleached a bit and needs to recover?
The LFS was a petco and their lighting is worse than mine!

My Hollywood stunner was originally purple. Under better lighting it’s now solid green and grows like a weed. With a lot of white light most corals appear brown regardless.
