Boca Raton Florida Reef Club

Hi everyone! Never posted on a forum before, hope this is the right place. Live in Boca, building a house in West Boca. Have a 16g biocube. Got the bug, upgrading to a water box 130 after the move.

Hello,

If you live in Boca Raton, Florida and are a reefer (newbie or expert.... no fish killers hahahaha), we are looking for you! Yes you!

Please limit this thread to only those in Boca Raton, Florida at the moment, as we want to start with a small community to establish a base and may possibly expand to areas around Boca Raton.

If you are from Boca Raton, please add to the thread and i will reach out to set up a larger virtual or in person meet up sometime in the near future.

First Virtual meetup in December or January.

Possible use of the Boca Raton Reefers Club (BRRC, Florida) will be:
- Virtual meetups (due to the Corona!)
- In person meetups
- knowledge sharing
- group buys
- tank visits
- frag swaps
- meet cool people, make friends
- go diving together? For those who have their diving licenses...

Thank you all
Hi,

Is this forum/club still going? I live in East Boca.

Hi,

Is this forum/club still going? I live in East Boca.
Yes, the club is around but not extremely active lately. We have a whatsapp groupchat going. If you would like to get added please DM @Mikosreef for the invite. We have a handful of people in West Boca, some in east Boca, and a few from pompano/lighthouse point/Parkland areas.

Hey guys, I’m in west boca…10+ year reefer and started a 150gl mixed reef a few months ago. @Mikosreef is this still active? I feel like our area needs a great reef club. How can I help/get involved?

Hey PM me your phone number and I'll get you added to our whatsapp chat

Hello group! I am in Fort Lauderdale and looking to join a club. Is this still active? Am I too far away? I would like to join to discuss our amazing hobby. I started my first saltwater tank 30 years ago and have recently set up a 54G corner bowfront reef tank (due to space). I am just looking for a nearby group to discuss things with. Are you accepting people from as far south as I live?
