Can someone please tell me what these guys are doing? I have had them for almost a year.. they were bonded when I purchased them.

Meh. Mine do the same thing from time to time...sort of like a lovers quarrel. Lol.

When my female lays eggs, they'll both nip a lot at my live rock, towards the base....move sand around etc before she does....then he'll come back around and fertilize them. Mine don't tend to do what yours are doing before she lays.

I'd say they're bickering at the moment...

Lol. The females can be such bullies sometimes. There are days when mine will basically hate on everybody else in the tank. Can't win.
