update fts shot
i swapped out the 150w hqi pendant for a 24" aquactinics tx5 5 x 24w and swapped the stock skimmer out for an octopus bh1000
dont mind the algae i gotta scrape and do my water change today

the skimmer works great, but i feel is still breaking in a bit. i dont have any thing in my back chambers except a filter pad in the overflow. i had to raise the water level significantly in the back section, and sweated as i simulated a power outage, but does not over flow.... thankfully

Very colorful! Do you only feed your angler live fish or has it been trained on frozen?

That's a nice blue iris frag you picked up there. I just got one too a few days ago that was about 1/2" to 1" tall only. Is your Marshall Island Yellow Fuzzy green or is it actually yellow? Someone tried to sell me one but it was green.

Thank you Ive been feeding him gut loaded feeder shrimp, I got him to eat a bit of frozen krill before but would rather the live for the benefit of gut loading them.

It is a shade or two more yellow than the krypto candy canes but not green, thanks I like the blue iris alot it really stands out in the tank and glows under the moonlight

It's been a while .....had to move cuz my apt got broken into, don't worry they didn't touch the tank lol
the angler was moved to a friends lfs but didn't make it for some reason. I missed the movement of fish so I added some lyretail anthias.
Right now I'm contemplating an upgrade
I have no max size on aquariums on the new place like the last.
