Good morning from the reef

Plugged in my AI Prime to try it out with the t5's. Its on a low settings basically just to extend the viewing time and add a little shimmer. Everything is going well besides the fact that I found two aiptasia but I ordered some Aiptasia-X to hopefully get rid of them.

Tank is doing ok. Corals are all looking great and healthy but I am noticing some hair like algae and some of the macro algae that came on the rock has started to become a nuisance (starting to wish I just went full dry rock). Also the sand bed is dusted with what looks like spirulina but I did a chemi-clean treatment and it hasn't disappeared. So far it hasn't gotten any worse though. It is really a bummer because of how awesome the corals are coloring up

Struggling with a bit of Cyano on the sand and some hair like algae sprouts. One thing keeping me motivated

Unsure if it is cyano or Dino's.... has bubbles on it but they don't form strings like normal Dino photos. Anyways performing a 2 day black out and chemi clean treatment to see if I can kick this to the curb any tips?

Update

Changed my aquascape and took out the shelf rock. I really liked it but it had a ton of algae on it that I just couldnt get rid of. Tested parameters last night and everything checked out well. Here is a quick top down shot

Thanks guys! I have been running Aquaforest on the lagoon. Unfortunately it will be taken down and I will be down sizing due to space. It's just too big in my small apartment right now.

Dang that sucks. Sorry to hear. What are you going down to. Not to many choices smaller than that. Good luck

Just going back to my Fusion 10. I'm in college so it's easier to manage and move if needed. I'm kind of upset about it but it'll just give me more time to plan something better when I finish school [emoji4]
