Not all of us can win Tank Of The Month. I certainly won't win any month, year, decade soon. So how about we brag about something literally no one else cares about.

I was told yesterday that I have the greenest, healthiest cheato and that my LFS won’t buy from anyone else!! Beat that Polo’s Reef!!

I got a whole $30 buckeroos for this yesterday! Whats your terrible brag?
I got my Herbie overflow adjusted with a ball valve.
Going to replace the ball with a gate but I am pretty proud I got it just right.

Still ticked at my old lfs for not putting a gate valve in and it took me a few weeks. But with the pump adjusted and that sticky as can be ball valve. It’s finally quiet.

I’m a newbie so I assume no one cares about my this but it’s gone from gurgle plop plop to a nearly silent hum of gentle peaceful water flow.

I'm spending my kids inheritance on scuba trips. Wait I forgot to have kids. Oh well.
Living the dream! My dream at least

My tanks water is the same tap water I used to fill it 10+ years ago. I don’t use rodi. I don’t have an ATO. I don’t use a skimmer and I don’t use mechanical filtration or gfo. I think fleece rollers are stupid and unnecessary. Same for socks and floss. And I don’t do water changes. I add 1-2g of water per week manually as top off. And that water is from the tap. I fill my kitchen blender (Blade removed) with sink water and walk it to the tank and pour it in because it’s convenient and has a spout. I use 3-4 blenderfull’s of water every couple days. When I need to add magnesium or calcium I add it in my blender pitcher with my tap water

I did install a full house sediment + carbon filter so my tap water: hot and cold, from any water outlet in the house, is essentially stage 1 and 2 from a rodi. Super convenient

Also, I hate having frag racks on my front glass. And I have a lot. Because. Secretly. This is a grow out zone for the new tank I’m working on. As soon as it’s setup, I’ll be able to instant fill it with coral. Incredible corals from the above pictures that I’ve been growing out for months to a year. I have 50+ frags and mini colonies ready to transfer. It will go from empty to show quality in a weekend. And my main display will instantly look better once these racks are gone.

My brag that maybe nobody cares about, is the substantial savings I have made (just this moth alone, through being a reef2reef supporting member).

I did not choose to be a supporting member, because of the financial benefits, but for I frequent the forums for knowledge, and the knowledge provided to us, that's priceless. For me, it feels good to contribute, knowing perhaps another newbie, will have another day to learn from what's being shared here. I really appreciate what's being grown here, in this community.
Happy and healthy REEF2REEFING everyone!!!

I street race my daily driver all the time
I know I’m not the fastest on the road but I like to see what I’m faster than, and what’s faster than me. Its a quick vehicle and people don’t expect it from a smaller suv. All wheel drive and a v6 biturbo with over 400hp is a good combo. My 0-60 is under 4 seconds with a mild tune.

Also my reef tank is completely bright and neon colors but my car is the exact opposite. Black on black is the only way…

I made a gift for my Secret Santa at work:
