I gotta ask. With that coming at ya, what did you choose to grab, if anything?
I was 7 years old at the time. My parents grabbed me and my sisters and we bolted for the basement. Got in the bathroom, they put my sisters and I in the bathtub and climbed over the top of us. My aunt and cousin were there as well they huddled around the toilet. I remember clear as day, I heard a low rumbling noise that progressively got louder and louder, everything started shaking and then the power went out. The water was sucked out of the toilet and then it hit. When they say it sounds like a freight train it is exactly right times 1000%

I have avoided these spinners but have long suspected that many people die from exposure to the rain they produce?

I rolled 10-300 games in bowling, 7 of which were using a 4 step approach and 3 using a 5 step approach. I rolled 3 with urethane bowling balls and 7 with reactive resin balls. I accomplished this feat in 5 different bowling alleys. I also rolled 4-800 series' and one of the 800 series had a 300 in it (the bowlers dream).

Another one for me is I’m a coral/retail vendor on the side. Nobody cares cause I don’t ship or advertise. Just a couple shows a year.

My 2011 Honda CRV EX-L hit 220K last week and the only thing that has broken (2 months ago) was my Cat....
Not to disqualify your response, but I 100% care about that. That is freaking awesome.

If you hyperventilate for about 45 seconds THEN hold your breath, you can extend that. In Pharmacy School (1st year) they taught us that the urge to breath is NOT a lack of O2, but a build up of CO2. So if you expell CO2, the urge is put off. I've gone over 4 minutes when I was your age!
what sector are you in as a pharmacist? I work in Research with 2 pharmacists that are terrific

I work in free-lance pharma and have tried and survived many insane exposures to unknow and known molecules at STP.

That's awesome. I rolled an average of 142 at best, using my Dad's ball. It didn't fit. My buddy had a ball with finger holes splayed WAY apart. My first game with that ball was 227. Second 180 some. Third 210 or so.

My claim to fame was with those stand up video games back in the 70s and early 80s. I got 3,145,690 after 4.5 hours at PacMan. Donkey Kong high score was about 825,000. Trust me, that's a lot.

Also, it was my pleasure to share lead trumpet in the best high school jazz band in the Washington State in 1981/82. If we needed power, we went with Rich. If we needed style, we went with me. Both of us could hit double G's, but Rich could really hit them LOUD! We actually had ourselves recorded in a studio. I still have that cassette!!!!

I believe I have a mystery pathogen in my water that only affects acanthophyllia. Or a curse. Could be a hex. I know it sounds crazy, but I am out of other explanations. I’ve lost 3 Acantho this year and am losing my fourth as I type. I am out of ideas to try, things to test, places to put them.

When you have 100+ corals of all types in your tank and everything is great, happy, colorful, etc…and then there’s one thing that never survives…stop buying it. Your cursed. Enjoy what you have that does well

I grew this metallic mint hammer colony from a 2 head frag. It’s around 30 now

I grew out that palythoa grandis colony as well, and Im a little scared to move it or touch it

My dying acantho is in pic 2, bottom right

Send it over I’ll let you know how it goes in my tank ;)

Everybody seems to hate wall hammers. Not me

I really like their growth and the challenge of them.

I have one that’s over 8” across, it’s a tricolor, orange tips, green and purple tentacles, and it’s on a small hidden magnet shelf and appears to be floating in my top right corner…and nobody cares or ever comments on it lol
