Coraline firms according to light, flow and calciumHello does anyone have any experience with branching coralline algae. I’m interested in trying to incorporate it into my macroalgae tank.
Branching (articulated) coralline algae is a very common sight here on the California coast, though our native species feature conspicuous segments unlike those that occasionally make their way into the aquarium trade.Coraline firms according to light, flow and calcium
Can’t say one seen it in branching form
From my experience, this algae is relatively easy to maintain, though it is a slow grower. It seems to prefer high flow and lighting, as well as elevated calcium, as mentioned above.Hello does anyone have any experience with branching coralline algae. Alyssa's Seahorse Savvy also offers branching coralline. @Tigahboy has had good experiences with them.@HeyLookItsCaps has some experience with them; I have not.
Tropical Fish Plus (@TFP2021) offers branching coralline, though the order they sent me came with medusa worm hitchhikers.
I’ve ordered from addictive multiple times. All was good quality, on the branching corraline there was a small mantis in there though. So take that for what it’s worth!@HeyLookItsCaps has some experience with them; I have not.
