The Tunze 9012 is L 5.5 x W 4.3 x H 16.3

Bubble Magus Curve 5 (rated 140 g) is 7.28"L x 7.08"W x 18.5"H

The bigger problem I see for small footprint skimmers rated for your tank and sump is they are tall. I say if you go 7.5” there are options available. 7.5” would match the size of the return chamber. That would leave a 12x12.5 refugium and depending on the water level would be about 9-10 gallons. That would be an adequate refugium at around 10% of the total system volume.

@Lowell Lemon can you just make the skimmer chamber 7.0-7.5" wide. Still leaves me room for the fuge.

No problem will make the necessary changes to the assembly plan! Thank for pulling the trigger and making the decision.

@Katrina71
I have had a day today so nothing got cut yet anyway! CNC machine locked up the Z axis and I had to repair it and fix the material it destroyed. LOL was it Monday and I did not get the memo? :eek:

About 7" of new snow and my son is needing help moving to Seattle, WA tomorrow so I will be out of the office until Monday. Slight delay but not a big one. My son is leaving my employment to work in his field of study (Bio Engineering). I will miss him but he won't miss working for me LOL. He is so ready to be on his way in life and I don't want to hold him up. He is in his masters for Bioinformatics and looking for new opportunities. ;Happy

Had to chain up the truck just to get out of our shop area for deliveries tomorrow and then hook up the trailer and head out into the next snow storm to Seattle. FUN & GAMES!!!! ;Nailbiting
