Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Nice and thread for her?
She still has some equipment to buy before that tank is ready for anything other than rocks. That and I gotta get her on here so she can make her own build thread... I'm not going to keep up with one for 3 tanks.

Spam!! New additions via aquashella. Going to grab some more in the morning. I spent more money on plants and Hanna instruments then anything. Also daughter got a new frog and everything to go with it.

Hello,

So I’m catching up on your thread and it moves fast. Since I can’t drink (errrrr because I’m allergic and it would be a painful experience) what does vodka taste like or whiskey or heck any of it. Is it like super cold milk nice and refreshing, a good strawberry lemonade or normal lemonade?

Oh and have never tried coffee either am I weird or am I am missing something.

depends what type of whiskey you get. Some are sweet, some are not. Some are strong some are not. You get it. :P Its can be a great strawberry lemonade, or it can be as bland as a cup of dasani water.

Have your ever smelled rubbing alcohol? That's what vodka tastes like. The more pure the spirit, the harsher the taste. The more stuff that is added, softens the bite. I like the sweeter flavors. Caramel whiskey, spiced rum and Pepsi with a hint of lime, most of those drinks you see people drinking ot off a coconut on a tropical island. Hurricane, piñacolada, tequila sunrise...

You're missing out on the coffee. Yummy stuff there.

It’s like how isopropyl alcohol feels on cuts, but on your tongue and cheeks, if you think you’d like that feeling and burn, you’d probably be a big fan of it! Hahah

Vodka taste like rubbing alcohol smells, unless it's very good Vodka.

Wow, all 3 of us have the same opinion of Vodka.

Yep, never been a fan... is all rubbing alcohol to me. I stay away from most clear spirits because of that... nothing to mellow the burn of pure alcohol.

Moonshine is the exception. That, actually has a good flavor with the burn. Then you have all the mixed flavors like lemonade or apple pie...

Hello,

Lol it smells like rubbing alcohol and I assume you guys think it smells lovely lol. I have to use it daily (well while at work), but if I get too much of a whiff of it I get light headed from it. I can’t say something is horrible with out trying but I don’t get to so have to ask lol. So when you drink this like in milk or juice do you even taste it or is it masked?

The point of mixers is to either mask, or complement the flavors.

With a high alcohol content, it's too cover up the harsh flavor and burn.

Hello,

Lol ahhh now the light clicks on when I ask those who are brought to me and I ask them if it tastes so horrible why drink it tell you bloody fall over lol. They have never told me they mask it with other drinks, just always say drank too much and well I hit the desk and now I’m here in the er umm can you dr get me a drink. Well I can have one of the assistants get you some water. No dr I meant like a normal drink lol. I’m sorry but we can’t do that here and I don’t suggest you drink for a long time since you have or very close to alcohol poisoning. Ahhh doc don’t be such a square I’m fine can I check out now? This is as we are still stalling that persons head and checking for other injuries lol.

I have always find it interesting, people’s choices. I can’t really say don’t and not by any means are they all the same. My parents drink the same things listed here or that others have mentioned but (not ever to a level where they go to the er). But as silly as it may sound I’m wondering like if I was ever able to drink, I’m curious as to how much it would take. Granted I’m less than 90 pounds so far less than some, but some friends said very very little, yet it takes sooo much for them and yes they have a tolerance to some of it. But always wondered that and what peanut butter tastes like since I’m allergic to that also.

I've partied hard enough to throw up on several occasions. I was in my early 20s once... Never to the ER tho. The thing with alcohol, judgment skills go out the window. The thought never crosses your mind how messed up you really are.

90lbs and never drank before? I'd give you half a fruity cocktail and you'll be slurring your words and falling all over yourself.

Peanut butter, that's a hard one if you've never had nuts. Take jelly, and think of what would be the most awesome thing to eat it with, and you have peanut butter. It's a little sweet and a lot salty and kinda earthy. Are you also allergic to soy? I've heard this is very close to really peanut butter.

Preach!

My Firefish is almost 4 years old now. The only problem I ever had with her, was she ate so much she had a huge bulge on the side of her stomach. That's when I started feeding spirulina brine/mysis, problem solved!
