Where's the fishes?Got the hubs put on today. I ripped the driver's side apart when I got home from work this morning then took a shower and got a nap. The girlfriend woke me up when the new ones arrived and I had it buttoned up in about 45 minutes. It took longer to put the studs innthe back of the hubs than it did to install everything.... left side brake rotor is rusted because it was off the truck and it rained. First time I tap the brakes it'll be all shiny again.
Yep. 1979 with 18,711 miles. She still cleans up good and purrs like a kitten after all these years.T tops...is that a vette? My T tops belong to a 1984 50th anniversary edition 300zx.
Awesome job on the paint! Sweet looking ride. What is the blue one next to it in one of the pics. Yours as well? They remind me of cars I used to see around my house when I was a kid. My dad was an early drag racer in the early days of the NHRA (late 50s). I remember he brought home a brand new 1957 Chevy and had the motor out of it by the next weekend. Regrettably, I did not turn out to have the same mechanical talents that he did.Ooooh cars, I love cars!
I painted my 57 Chrysler about 8 years ago now, before my back went out and when I had more hair.
Had a blast!!
Thanks. If it came down to keeping just one, that is the one that I would have to keep. My best friend and I had left our Corvettes to each other in our wills. He had a 94, which eventually became a 2013-2014 Z06. But he sold it. I could have made out really big had he gone first, because all his will mentioned was his Corvette. No mention of the year.I like the elco myself.
Thank you. They are to me too. They are what I grew up driving. We just have an Explorer and I have an Equinox company car that I use for personal use. They look like collectors to me! Very nice.
Had a 77 El Camino and all my trucks are Chevy. We had two great Bonneville's that we ran into to the ground. Wife has a Audi convertible A4 and Toyota 4runner Limited.

East bound and down!Ha. No. Pirate Dictionary: Pirates Booty = treasure — money, jewels, and the like — obtained by criminal means, especially plundering or pillaging. If you're in the Caribbean on vacation, you could spend some time looking for buried pirate booty. And no, none of any of that in that car.
Now this car? Another story.
I think fin was asking about the blue car in the last pic. I think it's a '46 to '50 dodge.
Oh wow, how unique.
Except I had mine 4 years before Burt. They were sorta rare when I bought the ‘74. The last year of limited production. In ‘75 they were everywhere. The salesman I bought mine from found the car in the Dallas area. He drove 14 hours round trip to pick it up for me. Crazy. Bought it brand new for $5,500.East bound and down!
I'd be cool with it. Not much grosses me out.Ha! Saw this on AskBRS-TV's Facebook page this morning. I would be murdered.
Nothing like using wife's food processor to make fish food.I'd be cool with it. Not much grosses me out.
