Brittle Star

Hello im new here has new to meer aquarium as well! I will have a student room next year but i very want to start one little aquarium tank this year ! What i want to start is one first pretty tiny with just sand rocks meersalz and one or few brittle stars in a tank maximum 50 litter tank ! Any advice or notice for doing that ?
Ps im from Germany so i can't go to American shops lol

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Your project should be fairly easy as those brittle stars are quite hardy. I don't think you'd need much more than a tank, rock, sand, circulation, and a heater to get started.

I have an brittle star in my 20 long. Dark with light stripes on the legs. Not sure where I got it, but it just chills underneath the rocks. The body is about 1.5" in diameter. (very long legs though)
No problem. I keep it well fed.

I call it the "Kraken." LoL
