Hi,

First of all, thank you for the great videos. I really appreciate the scientific method you try and use in these.

One things I am interested in at the moment, is increasing the growth of macro-algae in my refugium with the use of iron supplements.

I have gone with Randy Holmes Farley 2012 recipe (using Fergon tablets), and thought it would be interesting to put this to the test in a controlled environment.

Some questions that could be asked:
- does it work to increase the growth of macro-algae?
- will macro-algae better compete with micro-algae / cyanobacteria when both are present, if iron is added?
- what is the best method: oldie (ferrous sulfate heptahydrate + sodium citrate dihydrate), Fergon or other supplements for H. sapiens sapiens, Kent iron?
- does it have an effect on the corals?
