Update: It's been about 10 days since I've begun my Kent Tech M treatment (1800-1900) and it is working...got a couple bigger plants that are trying to hang on, but I'm going to go in and hand trim them and probably run the Tech M another week.
^ what about this? First I've heard that Tech M was reformulated...@steve maxwell this might be a fruitless path. There have been recent reports that Tech M no longer works because of a change in the formulation. Do a search and see what you find for recent posts.

FWIW I had a buddy who had a severe bryopsis takeover. He let it go for so long that it was blocking light to his sand bed. What he did was use bryopsis' strength to it's disadvantage.
He pulled out the rocks one at a time and then grabbed on to the bryopsis with a needle nosed pliers and literally pulled them out. The root of these things are so strong that you can pull them all the way out - he said some came out as far as 24". It took a while but he managed to get it all and it hasn't returned.
