So I currently have my bta in a glass vase in my tank. But I’m wondering if anyone has a better solution where I could let it be more in the open without worrying about it going into a powerhead ?

Nems are unpredictable. You could nem-proof your powerhead with assorted foam filters, etc.. I've found with mine if you give them a designated rock and proper flow they will stay there. (no guarantees)

What type of powerheads do you have? A lot of people are now 3D printing covers that fit on top of them to prevent an anemone from getting shredded (some designs are better than others).

You can also mitigate moving by providing them with the proper type of rock -- such as Pukani -- or a type of rock with lots of holes and crevices. BTAs like to hide their foot.

Bta will go to the highest spot with the best flow in the tank, but they like holes to retract in. make a rock pillar and keep rock away from P.H.

The top rock on the left. I see 2 holes it should be very happy in. I'd use the nem guard on your icekap. You can cut an old fishnet to fit over the Jebao.

I would go for the bigger lower hole on that rock.

Not yet. I haven’t covered my powerheads yet. Not enough nets to cover both. I may order nets to match them. So it won’t stand out so much.

what about pantyhose?

Pantyhose will clog quickly and require cleaning every couple of days. Try some cross stitching material instead.

I don’t find BTA wondering into power heads unless they are mounted to the glass wall. Or if they are very sick and the foot dislodges making them free floating

I don’t have any personal images as I don’t use it myself.
