Bubble Algae

I just find it extremely odd I'm having this problem, since all the rock was inspected thoroughly, and scrubbed down before I added it. Also, a good majority of it was from an established system where I never even spotted bubble algae before in years.

So basically... WHERE DID IT COME FROM! LOL

I think mine came in on a frag that I got awhile back. One of my friends had a small problem with it and I think it hitchhiked in with a frag from them. Hopefully my Foxface will take an interest in my two algae problems. I'm doing some water changes this week and my skimmer has been upgraded. We'll see what happens.

Good luck. I'm still unsure how mine creeped in. Also, I have an overkill filtration system... so the rapid rate of reproduction is what really confuses me. I'm actually planning on adding a small Ctenochaetus tang to my tank, just haven't decide on which one. Along with that, I may add a few more Emerald Mithrax Crabs and plan on starting to run GFO.

I perfomed a 15g water change today as well.
