This seems to be popping up more and more by us. Maybe you guys might know what it is. Unfortunately too small to photograph. Under chalice there are hundreds of tiny white bugs. Smaller then copepods. Looks like they might be eating away on the chalice, even small holes appear. Running around underneath like ants! Any idea what it is and how to stop it? The tank I'm currently talking about has plenty wrasses in already including sixline and yellow wrasse.

Can you get any out the tank to take a picture with a magnifier?

So small. If you look very carefully you can see tiny white specks. Move very quick. Will try upload video

I don't know, but only would 100% start dipping it regularly until someone who knows what it is and how to deal with it shows up

I believe you have euphyllia bugs based on what I saw and this describes them below..

"these white "euphyllia bugs" are nasty buggers. They look like small copepods all over the affected coral. I have tried both FW dips, TMPCC dips, and Revive in the past. The bugs look like they are "gone" the day after the dip, but always came back, worse than they were before the dip. (or so it seemed). I know a few other locals to my area that have had torches killed by these bugs.

Interceptor may work, since I think it targets critters just like the euphyllia bugs. " reef(central) that other site.
