I have a 120 gallon and it’s in finishing stages of cycling. Please help me with fish because I’m not good at it. I have a set of 15 year old clowns that will go in first so help me build from there. We love tangs but sometimes they are bullies and I want to make sure I do them at the right time. I want another malanarus wrasse and love lawn mower blennies so any othe suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to break the bank so keep that in mind. Fire fish are also on my list so I need to add them at one time.

Add the most peaceful fish first...ie: firefish, blennies, etc... Then add the more agressive fish last...ie: tang, some wrasse species, etc... But, only you know what you like for stocking. List some options and others will jump in and help to say if they are good together, when to add, etc...

Generally my suggestion would be to cover the color spectrum...

Reds: Firefish school, long nose hawkfish, various fairy wrasse, etc

Blue: powder blue tang, hippo tang, coral beauty angel, watanabe/lemarks angel, etc

Yellow: midas blenny, yellow tang, etc

Green: Chromis, Christmas wrasse, etc

Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I’d love to try a powder blue. I haven’t had much luck with blue hippos over the years. Should a powder blue go last with the yellow tang.
