It's called a ball anemone. They are kinda cool. I've had a few. I've even had some show up after complete revamp of tank. they are tiny and mostly go unnoticed. They are nothing to be concerned with. It is not Aiptasia. I like them. Just not enough to try and save while cleaning my tank I guess. They usually like the perimiter of rocks along the sand bed.

just so you know - our tank is clean - no algae anymore!

I'm planning on taking it slow but I want sps eventually
my all is 13dkh - so need to something about that - suggestions would be helpful!

UPDATE TIME:
Soooo i tested my tank and the alk is 12dkh :(
the nitrate 50
phos 0.09 :(
ammonia 0 :)
ummm
i kinda ran out of time to test the others but I will do it soon
anyway you'll see in the pics that the sand is kinda brown and I think its bcs of the high phos and nitrate.
i kinda want to get an algae scrubber from Santa monica the drop .2 - thoughts?

anyway a while back I had a royal gramma - its always been my favourite fish and it got bullied by the clowns and died - sooo im gonna start building a small stand alone rock with a cave where he can hide cus I really want one again :) (also i need a project - im v bored)
what do you guys think to the aquascape ?i can add some dry rock to it so if you have suggestions - fire away. :)

and alsoo - remember how we got a peppermint shrimp a while back?
well we thought he died - turns out whilst I was cleaning the back (mini sump) thing he popped his head over and today we're gonna move him back into the main display to eat the aiptasias :)))
