New bite on the 1200
Was it me? I’m always online looking for good deals to make into a new problem in my life. Actually, I know it wasn’t me because I would have said hello and wished you good luck.

Hello… good luck!

I am looking. However, I am looking for more of a “rescue system” situation. The sad part is that I have a friend that is going to be getting rid of a gorgeous, 3/4”, double euro-braced, 84 x 36 x 24 A.G.E. tank that is 5 years old and don’t really have anywhere to put it. I was going to put it in the bedroom (making it a fish room) that I converted to a closet for my lady and convert a different bedroom into the new closet. The tank would be an in-wall tank and require me to make structural and electrical changes to the house. This, while being a project, would not be a problem for me to do. The thing about this plan is that we have the new kittens now. The new kittens have the bedroom which I was going to make the new closet. No new closet = no new fish room. So, I have to develop a new plan or go back to the original plan of having an in-wall room dividing system. This will be between the living room and office. I’d love to use the A.G.E. for this but the back is black glass. Or I may go with a regular 180g on the living/office dividing wall which would be on the living room side. To be determined…

Can you turn it 90 so that it runs long ways through the wall? black back against another wall so it's unseen.
Kittens are cute, but do they need a whole room?

90 degrees is not a possibility.

Kittens are, indeed, cute and we've always had a room for our cats to have their own space. We have three dogs. One of them is eighty pounds and unaware of her careless nature and strength. So much so that she has multiple scars about her body from self-inflicted wounds. She is also fully responsible for shattering a hind leg of one of the other dogs. When I it was shattered I mean like a noodle. The highly-recommended and regarded specialist surgeon thought he was going to have to amputate the leg. However, we encouraged him to do whatever needed to be done to save the leg. He, in turn, installed titanium rods, screws, connectors, etc. and was able to save the leg. Anyways, long way of saying that the cats need their own area.

Listen here, pal... see post above.
I was going to say something unrelated but found that gif and changed my message. ;)

tail wagged the dog.

Man, prioritizing cats over reefs?!? Not a popular opinion on R2R! :D
...only kidding, of course! Sorry to hear about your recent loss and glad you got your new kittens.

I am still awaiting your build thread, though, in all seriousness!

@danieyella Hope you get the 1200 sold! I remember dealing with similar potential-customer issues selling my puppies a year ago.
Also, is Matt not a fan of popcorn, or just not a fan of the machine?
