Very possible, they had apple fritters bigger than my head. They were in the process of bringing fresh out with a lot of the donut varieties at the time we were in

Weird interesting creature isn't it?

Mine eats like a monster, very quick to take anything. And I'm pretty sure it ate all 3 of my sexy shrimp. Mine also gets bigger at night.

I enjoy watching it catch and eat things. That sucks about the shrimp though, luckily mine will never be in a tank with shrimp anyway lol

The pods are still alive and multiplying!! Today I'll probably harvest some phyto to feed them more.

Time to start seriously planning out the big tank.

Peninsula is official, of course it's currently out of stock and available preorder for early spring :rolleyes: But that's essentially beginning in a month.

ICP test tubes come today so I can ship that out tomorrow and get cube started back up on moonshiners, get myself back into the swing of things before big tank.

Betelgeuse ate both cubes of food himself today :face-with-tears-of-joy: I'll have to go back in and feed more later.

Also really want to be able to add shrimp to the cube after the brats get moved to the other tank. Need to research who will be safe w/ ponies....

Okay need brainstorming help #Cronies

I have a 48" reefbreeders photon v2+ and 2 quanta blue strips (one for either side). I need ideas on how to mount this over the peninsula *without* hanging from the ceiling - hubs wants to avoid that.

Do we build a canopy? Seems weird to me, personally - but that's what he wants to do.

It's a lot of weight to put out long ways one direction from a cabinet or something.

Do I just get the bot rb mounts and put them on the bar side of the peninsula and just have them look kinda awkward? Will that look awkward? I feel like it will....


Also, zero of you gave me scape plans. Disappointed.

I mounted my Reefbreeders from the tslot aluminum same size. So that's doable. You just need a longer screw which they sell on the RB website.

Scape. Sorry I hate that part. Just throw the rock in there and you can always move it around. But I do like the 2 island ideA with an open area in the middle.

Nope. I'm in planning stage for the tank, all I have are the old lights from the old tank that are getting reused on this one.

can you do a floating canopy off the wall. mount it a little higher so it doesn't block the view and the top of the tank stays clean looking.
