Cade Chaos Grimoire

This is really pretty, but I'm pretty sure I need to keep increasing my lights first...

Update on the mp40 situation.

It's still sticking since the magnet recharge.

It started making a crazy noise yesterday and I took it apart to clean it and see if I could figure out why and noticed the dryside was insanely hot. Still overly warm today (not as severe), but quiet again.

I was planning on installing one of my old powerheads on the other side of the back wall today to begin with, I suspect this thing is on its way out and I'm going to need to use both.

I believe people take them apart to clean/ grease the friction points inside, some even replace bearings. Does the pump make more noise than usual?

There was something caught in the wet side making noise initially, I cleaned that up and don't notice any out of the ordinary noises now. It hums, but I feel like it always has - and it's not noticeable unless I'm standing right on top of it (other than when it was crazy hot)

Then it's probaly fine. They are normally noisy, when they can benefit from a greasing.

That day if I put my hand on the tank I could feel the whole thing move with it. Was sketchy.

My husband really needs to start waking up at a respectable time on Sundays because I end up just building carts of corals or fish...

It sure us pretty..
What do they just melt away on you? You ever try feeding them?
Yeah I've fed, no issues w/ chalices - not sure why favia are more picky with me. Idk if there's a fish that is causing issues w/ them specifically or something. Just poor luck.

And I assume you're not placing them all in the same place..(?)

Insane thunder storm at 130 this morning. Kept me very up. Had to close the bathroom & bedroom doors to shut out the constantly flickering lightning through the windows.

No corals ordered btw

Tank goals for day off tomorrow:

Glue some things
Up the par a little more (its been about a week or more since I did the first boost)
Set up one of the old powerheads on the other side of the black wall
Pluck some more algae/slime from the pony tank (seeing improvement overall)
Feed Beelzebub
Photos of things

Other plans for tomorrow:

Hair appt
Make mustard
Make mayo
Boil about 6 dozen quail eggs
Start pickled eggs, and Korean braised eggs
Plant room maintenance
Repot bananas
