The issue is that there's only one little piece of stick that is exposed and not overgrown by other things. And it doesn't connect to the rock where I had it placed

I have found that if you give it a good bath in some light citric acid mix in a 5g bucket they go back to working correctly. Mine gets a little salt build up here and there and it takes it right off.

Love my grabby sticks lol.
