Geo is solid. The new DC recirc pumps they’re offering make their reactors silent.

deltec and dastaco are also very nice.

MIne stablized and raised my ph a bit.
I ran a big one on my 125g. It is the same big one I use on my 600g. If you over size it you can adjust it so it works for a smaller tank. You can never make an undersized one work harder than it is capable of

So should I go with a dual or single? I’m Trying to minimize the amount of equipment as well I’m currently running kalkwasser and a co2 scrubber to Maintain ph and keep my parameters stable I’ve always had a problem with low ph in my home

Maybe try a single with an option to add a second chamber if needed

Or drip it into your skimmer or first sump chamber where there is a lot of turbulance

My carx does not affect the ph in my system.
I run no ph probe or controller.
Its a very simple method.
Get a quality 2 stage regulator.
Imo, a second chamber is not needed if tuned right. I do drip my effluent into a small cylinder of bones.
Here is a pic.

K what else do I need so many options

a feed pump Of sorts To feed the reactor. Kamoer, versa, masterflex, etc. Some tee off their return and feed that way. I turn my versa off at 11p and on at 430a or else my alk would rise too much overnight.

With a Tunze carx you do not need a feed pump.
Co2 bottle and 2 stage regulator is all you need.
Check out jda's post for more detail if intetested.
My carx runs 24/7 and keeps my alk at desired levels with +- .2 accuracy.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but I plan on eventually getting a reactor. Does it add only ca or ca and alk?

Depends on the media used. Coral skeletons will add phosphates and a very small amount of other traces, but they really don’t replenish them. I believe BRS just released a video on reactor media. All of the media used for reactors will at minimum add ca & alk.
