Calmwaters First Saltwater Build

Ok:

C1*V1=C2*V2

For you, it's likely going to be approximately:

100*1.03 = X*1 = about 3 gallons?
Thank you!!! Then if I need more water to get the sump where it should be I should add saltwater correct?

Yes when the plumbing is finished and connected to the sump, you will add the water matching the salinity of the DT at that time.

Congratulations, looks like we will be cycling tanks at the same time. Good luck ..
Thank you! I am hoping for a very short cycle since the tank was setup and cycled for many years with fish in it up until when I went to pick it up. I kept sand and rocks covered in water the sentir transport and setup time so I'm hoping I didn't lose any good bacteria.

Good morning everyone! Morning two of the tank being setup and you can see the rock work much better this morning. I will be moving the orange heater you can now see into the sump when it up and running tomorrow. I hope today's holiday doesn't delay the bulkhead fitting in the mail.

That’s the new math my kids learned that I was unable to help them with.

Guys I'm so excited I might have found the right bulkhead fitting locally at a place closed on weekends. My husband and stepson are going to check it out after they get off work and if it's right they will get it and the pipes and fix it tonight for me!!!

Wahoo! Keep us updated.

No, new math says 3*4 = 3+3 = 6+3 = 9+3 = 12 instead of 3*4=12...

Sorry, al

All of us that grew up doing old math are a little screwed up in the head.
