Haha yeah I was just having some fun on photoshop.
It's a cool idea for sure. Though, how you can pull it off without painting?

We are working on a special blend of plastic. The pumps right now are made with black plastic beads- we know they can make white ones already. The specific blend of colors we will do is being determined right now.

Interesting, thanks for sharing.

I think it would be cool to have a faux rock around it with plug holes on top to double as a frag rack!

I thought about something like that- the rock would be too heavy to attach with the magnet. Perhaps a plastic (Reef safe of course) rock?

The Alternate Reef makes these powerhead covers.

Very cool- I like that idea too. However- having it purple in the first place would save you a good chunk of change- and they only work on tanks up to 3/8" thick.

I try to hide my powerheads behind aquascaping and aim the pumps where I want them

Wouldn't it be easy to 3D print a rock with frag holes and keep weight down and can be colored purple?
