Got out of work and had to make my weekly trip to the fish store. Grabbed a brittle tooth tang. Seems to get along with the convict tang just fine.

Picked up a rock flower anemone as well as frags came in. Green birds nest, tri color orange Ricordea and a mystic sunset Monti.

Been posting everything in my hello thread but should be in here I know. Lots of additions. ( a cpl every week). Currently 3 clowns, LM blenny 2 leopard wrasse, blue head wrasse, convict, powder brown, bristle tooth and just today a sail fin tang. Cleaner, 2 peppermint, blood and pistol shrimp paired with a yellow watchman. 2 porcelain crabs. 9 anemones, frogspawn,hammer, two 2 headed torches and various zoas and sps. Short list for near future is 2 harlequin shrimp. ( already have 4 cc stars in refugium for constant food source). And was at last today to get the dog faced puffer that was there for last 5 months to find out it sold this week. So got the sail fin instead. Oh, and a Hawaiian feather duster.

I recently installed this unit above my sump. This thing is no joke. Dropped the phosphate and nitrate levels down fast!

Not been on lately but still active in the tank. The BTA that split twice is healing nicely. One section is fully healed the other two are looking better. Had ich start to set in, started with medplex and some garlic food additive to help immune systems but wasn't till I started dosing ich attach for reef tanks that it cleared up. Took about 2 weeks and no sign of ich atm. And no signs of side affects to shrimp , corals or anemones. Resent adds are a purple tip torch and a tiger sleeper goby. Yesterday grabbed up an 8 headed frogspawn. (Love that it looks like a tree) and today grabbed another pistol shrimp/ watchman pair.

With the 225 doing well and pretty much being addicted, got a text about a shop moving and not taking there 125g set up with them. So I went and checked it out. The tank and stand were older and lighting nothing special but for 500 coming with a fluval x5, 2 hang on skimmers, 80-90lbs of live rock, 4 clowns, a yellow tang, file fish, fox face, angle, + a cpl others. Also had a good bit of food, supplements, treatments and accessories. Only having a week to get it out of the building they were in, I picked up a 40 breeder to set up for the fish till I build the 125. Pulling out the rock and fish as well as taking the x5 and skimmers with enough water to get it going. I had the 40 set up in a few hours. Liking how the 40 turned out, I an going to keep that as well And take my time building the 125.
