Can a hammer and torch touch?

Can hammers and torches live close to each other without issues?

I believe hammers and frogspawn can touch, but, torches should be left alone With each other

I do not have first hand experience.

However, I have always been told Hammers and Frogspawn are good together.

Torches are jerks and must be separated. Torches with other torches are solid, though.
