Hi, as the title says, I want to ask if brown banded Bamboo sharks have a possibility to be infected with ich. Because I have had an ich outbreak in my 450 gallon fowlr tank with 2 Bamboo sharks, a moon wrasse, velvet damsel, Niger trigger, porc puffer, stars and stripes puffer, and a comet/marine betta, unfortunately my stars and stripes and Niger trigger were the 1st ones to go out, and my velvet damsel has a lot of spots still is eating but alot. My main concern is the 2 Bamboo sharks, as i am concerned wether if I leave the tank fishless to get ich out of the system and leave the sharks or also seperate them for observation. And yes it's confirmed ich

Sharks are not immune but rather resistant to ich parasite. Resistant does not disqualify ability for them to get ich but rather a reduced chance. Have treatment on hand should the need arise to treat..... Its in better terms, be prepared in case. A safer treatment for ich with shark and the eel would be Chloroquine Phosphate at 10 mg per useable gallon for 30 days with added aeration using airstone.

Ok thank you very much for replying, as of now ich is dying down in teh display, what i did is i boosted the immune system of the fish and shark so ich would have a hard time.
