Who’s up to snuff in their microbiology? I had amphidinium dinos starting to pop up and silica dosed to 2ppm w sponge excel. This has “successfully” rid my tank of dinos in the past (intervals of 6-7months dino free then they pop up again even if nutrients are stable). But the pictures here I do not believe are dinos, at least not the ones im familiar with. I think/hope this is diatoms, which makes sense logically, but the are aggressive ! And they recede at night…

Thoughts?
