Unfortunately no. When the mantle is completely withdrawn like that the clam is close to death.

How long was it being stung by the nem? And what anemone? It doesn't look good, but give a day or two to see if anything changes? But I agree, when the mantle is that retracted, it's usually not recoverable.

I had to get it out this morning was a gonner

It was next to the bta for 2 months and wasn’t bothered by the nem because it didn’t move away
I’m thinking it could be something else but idk what

It had a nice amount of new growth, which is great, but this seems rapid to me, so either the anemone stung it pretty bad or there’s a predator in there? Sorry to hear.
Yes it was overnight
I know the nem was touching it because it would curl in a little at that side but maybe it wasn’t actually stinging it but just touching it enough for the clam to tuck in a little

Another thing I noticed was while it was looking almost dead yesterday a few fish were pecking at it one is a lemonpeel angel who’s never gone near it and a melatanus wrasse again never went near it

Once a clam is stressed or on its way out, there will be plenty that come in to help out. Centropyge in general are not 100% clam safe and I'm guessing it would be a matter of time before it started pick at the mantle (which has been my experience with them), but sometimes you get lucky and they don't bother them.

The Pygmy has nipped a few polyps but loves her mysis so if she’s well fed she doesn’t nip , I’ve never seen her at the clam tgough
