Can Marine Parasites live after being dried out??

Hi everyone,

I'm currently putting my fish through QT, after an ich outbreak. After nearly loosing a few fish I have become quite paranoid about diseases entering my DT . I am wondering can ich and other marine diseases live out of water (like brine shrimp cysts). If so does anyone know for how long??

You may want to look at investing in a sized UV sterilizer.
